Rosemary Joshua soprano

Rosemary Joshua was born in Cardiff and studied at the Welsh College of Music, of which she is now a Fellow. Highlights this season and beyond include Brahm's Ein Deutsches Requiem with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Mendelssohn's Lobgesang with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Bach's St John's Passion with the Academy of Ancient Music and Richard Egarr, and tours singing Nitocris in Belshazzar with RIAS Kammerchor Berlin and Messiah with the Orchestra of the 18 Century.

Rosemary Joshua has recently sung with Los Angeles Philharmonic, London Philharmonic and Bayersicher Rundfunk orchestras, with conductors Gustavo Dudamel and Vladimir Jurowski, and also makes regular appearances with leading period groups including Les Arts Florissants, Academy of Ancient Music, The English Concert, and Gabrieli Consort. She has also appeared at the Metropolitan Opera New York, Netherlands Opera, La Scala Milan, Opernhaus Zurich, Glyndebourne Festival, Bayerische Staatsoper, Welsh National Opera, and La Monnaie, Brussels.
