British/Australian soprano Lauren Lodge-Campbell has established herself as a versatile and accomplished performer, celebrated for her work in opera, concert, and recital.

Recent operatic highlights include roles such as First Witch in Dido and Aeneas, Serpetta in La finta giardiniera, Euridice in Charpentier’s La descente d’Orphée at the Vache Baroque Festival, Cupid in King Arthur with the Gabrieli Consort, Minerva in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, and Eufemia in Legrenzi’s Giustino with Pinchgut Opera. She has also performed in Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri and as Princess in The Hogboon with the London Symphony Orchestra under Simon Rattle.

On the concert platform, Lodge-Campbell has appeared in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with the Britten Sinfonia (Stephen Layton), Magnificat with the Royal Northern Sinfonia (Nicholas McGegan), and Exsultate Jubilate with the English Chamber Orchestra. She has also performed Handel’s Messiah at the Saint Denis Festival with La Chapelle Harmonique and Gluck’s Paris and Helen as Amor with Bampton Classical Opera.

Other notable past engagements include Iole in Hercules at the Händel-Festspiele Karlsruhe (Lars Ulrik Mortensen), Venus in Venus and Adonis, and Amore in Il ballo delle ingrate at the Brighton Early Music Festival, as well as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel for Iford Arts. She has sung with ensembles such as Les Arts Florissants, Arcangelo, and the London Handel Orchestra, and has performed at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, LSO St Luke’s, and the Holywell Music Room in Oxford.

Lodge-Campbell studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Queensland Conservatorium, and the Franz Schubert Institut. She has won numerous awards, including the Susan Longfield Prize, the Franz Schubert Institut Lieder Competition, the Cheltenham Bach Choir Competition, and the Schubert Society Song Prize. She was a member of the young artist programme of Les Arts Florissants and is a Samling Artist.
