Over past seasons we have established ourselves in the idyllic Derbyshire spa town of Buxton with performances of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and Handel’s Tamerlano. This season we turn to Mozart’s early classical opera Lucio Silla and a complementary chamber programme of Mozart and his contemporaries performed by our principal musicians.
