Wigmore Hall Live: Sarah Connolly & Rosemary Joshua

The radiant soprano Rosemary Joshua and luminous mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly have starred in many appearances with The English Concert; in one of their recent touring Handel operas Theodora, and headlining their 2011 recording of Handel duets dubbed 'sixty glorious minutes' by the Independent. Now they return in our latest Wigmore Hall Live recording with some of Purcell's most beloved arias alongside instrumental music from his contemporaries.
